Tampa1257 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Very Nice Sampler, now I just need to find the money! LOL Almost time to go sell my body to support my cigar habit!
Professor Twain Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 This is a beautiful sampler, I may take the plunge on this. Do any of these have some age? Could you show the box codes for each?

El Presidente Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 I will post the box codes for each on Monday ;-)
Van55 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Interesting.... Despite the fact that Cuba's announced policy is that all cigars shipped outside of Cuba are to have bands, four of the cigars in this sampler are unbanded. No, I am not implying that they are fakes. I don't think Habanos s.a. has gotten around to putting bands on any JLo cigrs or the RyJ Cazadores as yet. Not sure about the others pictured, but they may predate the "all cigars will be banded" edict of the spring of 2004. That's a beautiful looking bunch of cigars. Fortunately I have several of most of them in my collection already.

I can attest to this fact because 2 of those cigars that Rob listed I purchased from Czar and they have 2002 box codes.

El Presidente Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 They still have not placed bands on Juan Lopez Seleccion No 1 and No 2 or the Cazadores. We were advised earlier this month that they were mean't to. Just didn't happen. I understand it is being rectified. Juan Lopez is about to go through a marketing upgrade (bands, boxes etc) so they may wait until then (2007). Sancho Panza and Rafael Gonzalez is also going through the upgrade.

El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 July Connoisseur Sampler I have been asked to put together a sampler based on the the most interesting cigars I have tried over the past 45 days. By interesting I mean cigars which have made me stop what I was doing and think to myself "Hell...this is a great cigar". The reasons why it was a great cigar are varied but each month I will put together some tasting notes to my seleccion which I will e-mail to each person who places an order for the "Connoisseur Sampler". You can then match your experiences with mine. We will give you a "Plug Free" Guarantee as each cigar will be hand checked by ourselves. All orders will go in for a prize for a box of aged Sanch Panza Belicosos to be drawn on the 1st of September. Add any other second box of cigars and recieve both free shipping and an additional ticket in the draw. Price for the Connoissuer Sampler is $265 USD / $460 AUD.
