Did you know that cigar aficionado scored the cohiba robusto 94 in April 2001 and 92 in December 2001? In 2000 it scored a pair of 90s. It had the highest score in their database in '01. It's terrifying to think what a few years of age might have done:wink:

connoiseur29 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 We all trust El presidente and his lovely wife (pretty much blindly), as we should (all they provide is the best). Many of us know good vintages of cigars just like of bordeaux. There are some years that are phenomenal and some that are just average. It is a nice thing to have multiple opinions and perspectives from members and retailers. When it's a good vintage cigar, however, almost everyone's opinions will converge. I don't think any sensible person would put their trust solely in CA. Nevertheless it is one of many resources with a lot of politics behind it. I think it is important to critically evaluate the literature and the material out there not only in CA, but in all other magazines, to better understand the cigar market for a particular year.
