Colt45 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I have a cat. She likes to play. She likes to play with mice. She catches them in the basement, And carries them up two flights to my bedroom. She does not kill them, but uses them as toys. I have to get up at four a.m. to catch them And go out and throw them in the woods. I am grumpy.
El Presidente Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 From an avowed Cat hater....just alter the ditty to solve your problems ;-) I had a cat She liked to play I got up at 4 am to catch her And threw her in the woods I am happy.

jay8354 Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 No offense to animal lovers but my dog is anti-social and is a fearsome smaller animal hater. Cats are viewed as natural enemies, since they are in his territory. Mice are viewed as toys, to be squashed by his mass. I am happy :-D
Colt45 Posted March 29, 2006 Author Posted March 29, 2006 » get a big dog or a bigger python. my python is big and no you cannot see it life can disappoint
Ken Gargett Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 » » get a big dog or a bigger python. » » my python is big » and no you cannot see it » life can disappoint clearly not big enough if you still have a cat. and there was no chance on the planet that i would want to see it. rob, on the other hand, might...

dogbreath Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 My neighbor has a cat. She came into my yard. I have three dogs. My neighbor almost had a cat no more.
Smokin Bulldog Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Mt wife has a cat named Hiram and if he did that he would die.:-|
Vetteman Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Big cat lover here. I've had as many as 4 at one time, but currently have 3, all Siamese.
Mel Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I thought this was going to be some kind of a transexual thing. I hope you are killing the mice before throwing them in the woods. If not you may be recycling the mice. Why not flush them down the tiolet, they are about the size of a ****.
Wiley Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 How in the hell can anyone not like cats? Cats are cool and independent, don't take ****, don't eat ****, and don't stick their nose up your ass. Also, I should mention that all you people who like to talk about their big dogs versus small cats need to keep this in mind: someone always has a cat that's bigger and meaner than your dog. A friend of mine used to have a tiger + lion half-breed (liger). He was a mean bastard that would've gladly eaten all your dogs for lunch. That being said, I also love my golden retriever, needy pain in the ass that she is.
Loki Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I had a cat once. Then one day it went for a swim in the pool. Sad thing was that the kitty didn't realize that even though it was a good swimmer it wasn't bouyant enough to over come the Have A Heart Trap that it was wearing.:-(
First Lady Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 All I am going to say is that I am the biggest cat lover in the world....my dream is to work with the big cats in Africa... Maybe the reason most guys hate cats is that cats are like women,.........Smarter than most men :-D I rest my case TFL
tey Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 i have three cats and i love them because they love me but don't need me lol. they just do their thing and every now and then we get together to say "hi".

Ken Gargett Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 i liked halle berry as catwoman. does that count? actually, i love that ocelot. that is a proper cat.
Taino Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 The problem with domestic cats is that they can cause serious ecosystem problems. They are predators and they will eat small mammals, birds, eggs, etc. in environments were themselves don’t have natural predators and furthermore they are very well protected by their owners, when these species are not prepared for such predator. I’ve seen it a lot in many places around the world and that’s the aspect I don’t like about domestic cats.

The only problem with that theory is you're forgetting all of the places where humans have displaced or destroyed all of the natural predators. Don't cats help fill that role? We do have a few coyotes and bobcats around where I live, but for the most part they stay away from human areas. If you like small cats, you might want to Google the Sand cat some time. It looks like a house cat, lives in the deserts of North Africa and the Middle East, and in the video I was watching on Animal Planet it was killing and eating poisonous asps; a pretty good-sized snake!
Taino Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I tried to chose my words very carefully. “…that’s the aspect I don’t like about domestic cats” In many places they don’t do any harm at all and that’s fine. …oh! and tt’s not a theory it’s a fFACT, that domestic cats can cause serious problems to entire ecosystems where they are not native… like many other animals: minks, beavers, etc.

Your friend's name wouldn't happen to be Napoleon, would it?
