I think it is extremely underrated since most people opt for larger ring gauges. It still irks me that they essentially discontinued all ring gauges under 50 in the thousand series. Not officially, but they haven't been in production since COVID. The smaller size of the corona really allows the wrapper to shine. It tastes like a fudge brownie in cigar form to me, and I would encourage everyone to try it at least once. The Principe is excellent too if you prefer a shorter smoke. The Padron 1964 Corona is my favorite Non-Cuban cigar. 6
ElLoboLoco Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Padrons are the kings of Maduro. My Father Le Bijou Torpedo is a 95 point cigar, in my opinion. It’s a way different profile from Habanos cigars and I don’t know that Habanos-only smokers will necessarily click with it. I don’t think Cuban smokers will embrace many NC maduros. It’s a different experience that’s a bit too foreign but that’s one man’s opinion. Lol 3
