Hey guys,

Pretty new to cigars — been about a month in now and slowly figuring things out 😅

So far I’ve been reaching for the H. Upmann Half Corona quite a bit. Seems to hit a nice balance for me, not too strong, decent flavour, and works well when I don’t have loads of time 👍

Just curious what else I should be trying at this stage? Open to any suggestions — ideally something along the same lines, nothing too heavy for now.

Still learning, so appreciate any tips 🙏

Cheers 🍻

I would start with the minutos, that way you only have to sell a finger or two, not a kidney.

  • Bolivar CJ
  • Cohiba Siglo I
  • Hoyo du Depute
  • Monte #5
  • Partagas Short
  • Ramon Allones Small Club Corona
  • San Cristobal El Principe
  • Trinidad Reyes

If you were sitting next to me right now I’d hand you the El Principe, I think that would be right in your wheelhouse.

If your lucky you’ll be cursed like me, I love them all.

I love @El Presidente's response. I would only like to add the Punch Short De Punch. I love H. Upmann and my friends and I all really love Punch as well. I believe you will too!

This is a good call. The top 3 cigars I’ve given to relative newcomers that had them swooning is Punch Short DePunch, Upmann No 2, and Fabrica 5 MohFoh Robusto Trinity.

I like the Punch Short DePunch recommendation. They're flavor bombs, not off the chain cost, unique but all Cuban.

Geeze. I'm having DTs typing this.

PLPC are a solid choice too.
