Dang dude, sorry. 

I fought hard against getting another dog after I went through it with my 17 year old pooch several years ago. I finally surrendered to my wife during Covid and we got a new dog. I'm glad we did. As bad as that inevitable day was/is, home isn't the same without a dog.

Thank you so so much! We still have our other pup and our cat, but yeah, it is truly heartbreaking. And it’s worse because he literally saved my life at least 4 times by detecting an impending seizure. We said goodbye on Monday and today is the first day I’m doing anything but crying through cigar smoke.

F'n A, that sucks. I love my pooches and there have been two out of the bunch that really captured my heart. When they go it's like a special piece of my life went missing.

Sorry to hear that Chris - the domestication of dogs is truly one of mankind’s greatest achievements. Their devotion is inspiring. I’ll be sending you my thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks.
