After that, I will finish things off with the best cigar ever made...a Cohiba Siglo VI Gran Reserva Cosecha 2003! Who wants to join me? john, great choice of champagne. same vintage and same cepage as mine. very similar wines. and to whomsoever went lamb shanks, very hard to beat. 1
TheCigarSoldier Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I'd go full Steakhouse style. Caesar salad, Calamari Filet Mignon, Loaded Baked potato, Brussel Sprouts w/ Pancetta, Lobster Mac N Cheese, and Creamed Spinach. Dessert I'd lean in on Creme Brulee. Probably going with a great bottle of Brunello or a GC Bordeaux. I fell in love with cigars at the ripe age of 15 and grew up on a Siglo VI. It's only fitting I'd go out with one as well. 2013 Siglo VI with Macallan 18 Sherry Cask. After all that I'd be ready to go like Bond in No Time To Die. 4
samsam1937 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 A mature Galician blonde beef rib, accompanied by crushed new potatoes from Noirmoutier with black truffle (Tuber melanosporum). After this feast, I'll choose a Montecristo A, about ten years old. Alternatively, a Partagas Lusitania of the same age. Then I can leave in peace... 4

BG318 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 1990 Cheval Blanc first thing. Cohiba Piramide. Those who know can choose the age for me. BBQ brisket with a nice bark. No sauce. Dauphinoise because I guess I am going to die afterwards anyways, although it hasn't been stated directly as to why it is my last meal but all the cream will help the effort. Fresh peach or strawberry pie. A great German Riesling after, trocken beerenauslese level. CoRo, old but not too old, as Beethoven's 6th plays, like in Soylent Green. Am I like a dog that is being taken to the vet and knows something is up because of my animal senses, or like John Coffee in the Green Mile? I might settle for a Monte 2 if I didn't know it was the end. 3
El Hoze Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Edomae sushi. Perfectly warm rice, lots of fatty belly cuts, uni, scallop, oyster, ankimo...ice cold Echigo Koshihikari beer flowing like water. Siglo VI GR after dinner. 3 1
