Nothing like a good cigar after a long (relatively) ride. That’s the absolute sweet spot of ride distance! Solid few hours in the saddle followed by a delicious cigar sounds like the schedule of champions. 2
BrightonCorgi Posted February 12 Posted February 12 My route is flexible between 13-23 miles depending on which roads I turn on. Usually 20ish is the ride. I start to get bored after that. Have to plan between conference calls.
Chibearsv Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I used to live in Ward, CO where I’d drink beer on the front porch while I watched guys ride up to the Peak to Peak Highway from Left Hand Canyon Drive. Damn, I get tired just remembering it 😜 2
Ford2112 Posted March 2 Author Posted March 2 Rode almost 7 miles today. New tires and grips and waiting on a few more embellishments. Bike rides sweet! 2 1

I will probably take it down some time this year and clean it up. Replace the rusted spokes, remove some surface rust and replace the foam. 1

Popular Post Ford2112 Posted April 20 Author Popular Post Posted April 20 Ok new build project, a 1990 Mongoose IBOC Team steel mtb. Stripped of all its goodies by a friend but I scored the frame for free with the fork and bars. Back then Mongoose made quality bikes. This was a Prestige Chromoly tubing, all XT bike in its day, right around the time Tomac went to Raleigh. Still has his old geometry. I will build it to be a fun little trail bike. 5
