El Presidente Posted Monday at 07:51 PM Posted Monday at 07:51 PM A new bill introduced in the Tennessee legislature would make it illegal for retailers to ship cigars directly to consumers in the state and add complications to local retailers. S.B. 2086, also known as the Tobacco Product Retail Licensing Act, would add new rules for retailers wanting to do business in the state of Tennessee. CONTINUED 2
Cigar Surgeon Posted Monday at 11:05 PM Posted Monday at 11:05 PM Just a reminder that Tennessee is a staunchly Republican state with a supermajority in their House. There are cigar enemies in both parties. 2
Islandboy Posted Monday at 11:14 PM Posted Monday at 11:14 PM I believe Hawaii (and Utah) has had a similar law in place for several years now. Although making purchases these days isn’t necessary and I rarely do, I’ve found it’s still possible, but the options for source are fewer.

Popular Post Ford2112 Posted yesterday at 09:00 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 09:00 AM Weed is ok now, when it was the devil's lettuce growing up. How about I get to choose what to put in my body? I have been using tobacco in some way or form since I was 12 years old. Cigars since I was 16. People will find their vices one way or another. I don't understand this new wave of tobacco hate. In California supposedly tobacco smoking is frowned upon but countless people tell me " that cigar smells good". Makes me think the politicians don't know what the people want. 8

Puros Y Vino Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Being anti-tobacco is a no brainer for any politician looking to score some easy votes. Legend around Toronto is that one cigar loving politician, walked into the LDCH grabbed a cigar, lit it up and announced to the people enjoying a cigar, inside, that his vote helped pushed through our Province's no smoking law which banned all smoking in all public and private buildings. 2
BrightonCorgi Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I expect this will start happening in many states until it goes to the Supreme Court.
