Simple comp: Two questions (sometimes about cigars but mostly not).

First question will ask you for your choice between two things.

Second will be to ask you if that was a "don't make me choose!" or "No contest" question for you.

Vote in the poll, discuss below if you wish

All participants go into the random draw for a 5-pack of MOFOH Robusto Trinity :cigar:

(drawn Monday mornings AEST)

Taking nothing away from Sgt Pepper. Dark Side is a masterpiece of epic proportions. This is the album I throw on whenever I'm testing new stereo equipment. In terms of songwriting, atmosphere, production and for being a cohesive conceptual work, I put it up there with anything in the history of Rock.

Sgt Pepper's usually takes a back seat to Abbey Road or Revolver for me when it comes to the Fab 4. All of it is essential listening anyway. The Beatles walked so everyone else could run!

Both are works of art and it comes down to mood and activity. I will say I can listen to Sgt Pepper's more casually, so Dark Side of the Moon gets a slight nod there.

Cheers!

Never really liked either. I find them quite morbid and boring actually😎🌴especially the Floyd fellow. Bring on the sad emoji.

Mother of God, West... my sincere condolences.

I'm scared to ask what music you actually do like. :hole:

Difficult to choose. Musically-speaking, Dark Side of the Moon is better whilst culturally-speaking, it's hard to compare the impact that Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band had upon pop music thereafter.

Dark side gets a light nod, both are classics. Not sure why, but Animals gets most of my PF listening time.

I'm addicted to Wish You Were Here.  I gave Sgt Peppers the nod over DSOTM as it was one of the first albums I listened to as a kid in the 1970's thanks to my older brothers' collection.

Never worry about "why".  Just enjoy :ok:  Like cigars, PF gives the opportunity to make a selection based on mood.  I'm all over the place with both.  Today I'll give you one answer on my favorite but tomorrow is probably going to be different.

This one was a no-brainer for me.

I do enjoy Sgt. Peppers (and the Beatles in general) but Pink Floyd has been my favorite band for the past 40+ years.

Dark Side of the Moon is a masterpiece IMO. When I was 16 years old, my best friend had a quadrophonic stereo set-up and I was blown away by the sound of "money" rotating around the room. Add in a little THC enhancement and I became an instant Floyd fan.
