Popular Post Çnote Posted December 22, 2025 Popular Post Posted December 22, 2025 @Capn_Jackson It's the time of year that we give the side eye to CA for their top 25. #3 Tatuaje Black Label. I see they have picked the hardest to find vitola. No matter, the entire line is worth a go. This particular one is a little subdued, mostly sourdough toast with fat and paprika to start, gets richer at midpoint with some rum raisin and the sourdough becomes more brioche. Picks up creme fraiche and coffee in the nub. Over all too quick, superb construction, call it an 88 and now I want another cigar 😆 7
westg Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Never really been a fan of Tatuaje. That said, based on a few responses on FOH I thought I would try one. Here in Aus you can actually purchase just about everything else except these. 😬Thanks for the review. 🍻 1
havanaclub Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Great cigar, I got a 50 cab of the Original Release and it’s hard to save them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Rupe Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Great review @Çnote. This is one of my favorite NC cigars so good to see it receiving a little love. 1
CrazyIvan Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 Does the Robusto have a pepper note? I tried the Corona Gorda recently and got a pepper blast in the first half.

KCCubano Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 I wonder why the Petit Lancero has become so scarce. It used to be readily available. 1

Like in the past couple weeks? Massive uptick in interest due to CA#3. Over the past couple of years? In general, more sales of Toro+ across the board for everyone, Tatuaje included. 1

They were well received but haven't really seen them since in the past year.

Some very tenured Tat shops have had them online 2025 but I haven't seen them locally in a minute, but then every single local has shifted heavy into 54rg+ as that's what people are reaching for. At some point last week nearly every major online store was thin on black label. Hopefully it's a fad. 😄
Capn_Jackson Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! … or so I would’ve said if I smoked this when @Çnote did. Sorry everyone, I’m far behind on my TX Duo reviews. Lit this up yesterday after enjoying an N2 Piramide. Slightly distracted by the Rams and Panthers, but here goes: Cold draw gives me coffee, a little bit of dried fruit. Sandalwood too, maybe. Light-up is full of coffee and crème notes, some caramel, and mild leather. Going on, the first half is dense coffee and earth, remarkably straight burn line (sorry, in the middle of conversations and I didn’t take pics), and a great mouthfeel. Something like dark apricot on the finish. Around the midpoint, I get some prune notes on the tip of the tongue and I’m in heaven. Can’t remember having this exact stick before, but now I want more. Strength kicks up in the second half, but this is far less rich than the previous sector. Not so much fruity sweetness, but some leather and earth. I can’t imagine Cody enjoyed this last half very much, but who knows? The end gets a slight bit bitter, but the core is still nice coffee and crème, maybe a little dark caramel in the nose. Not digging the last half so much. I’d give this an 86, but definitely something worth looking for to put down and bury. Cheers! 1
