Simple comp: Two questions (sometimes about cigars but mostly not).

First question will ask you for your choice between two things.

Second will be to ask you if that was a "don't make me choose!" or "No contest" question for you.

Vote in the poll, discuss below if you wish

All participants go into the random draw for a 5-pack of MOFOH Robusto Trinity :cigar:

(drawn Monday mornings AEST)

Kicking things off with a divisive old classic... Trapper or BJ?

Trapper to me also includes the movie with Eliott Gould. So that influenced my decision.

Trapper no contest. Those first three seasons are still to this day magic for me. I missed Trap and Henry the rest of the series.

The Trapper character reigned in Hawkeye's personality more than the BJ one. BJ was too much the 'straight guy' for me.

LOVE M.A.S.H!  Didn't get a chance to vote but yeah, this is a tough one. Love both Trapper and BJ but I tend to favour towards Trapper. The series really did change after Trapper and Henry's exits. The focus on comedy was toned down a bit in favour of a comedy/drama with a bit of "horrors of war" feel tossed in. Political, yet apolitical. Potter having been a veteran of many wars, was the quintessential soldier, but the surgeon in him, often put him at odds internally. BJ's innocence, compared to Trapper, to me was a placeholder for the audience to experience the show through his eyes a bit more. Hawkeye is still the focus of the series. Both Trap and BJ excelled as characters. I used to watch it every day, reruns and newly aired episodes right to the brilliant finale. No show will ever come close to capturing what M.A.S.H. achieved artistically and socially.
