I work from home and bought an exhaust fan, dryer exhaust window adapter, duct hose, and a Rabbit Air A3 filter. My wife now lets me smoke in my home office with impunity. This has made my workday more pleasant but my paychecks feel smaller 🙃

What’s the outlay on something like this? 🤔

The duct setup total was about $150-ish. The Rabbit Air A3, which is SUPER OVERKILL but I have a 2-year-old, was $850. You could go a different route than the A3 for significantly less and get perfectly satisfactory results. Have ChatGPT help you with airflow by giving it images or a diagram of your room for maximum impact.

I can send you links to the exact things I bought, if helpful.

Mistakes have been made and I'm knee deep in them.

Much appreciated, that’s a lot less than I expected. I will see if I can piece together some plans and a method, to see if it’s something I can wrangle at home.

I'm right there with @Gubbins with your setup here. I have a 900 sq ft finished basement that is a walk-out setup with windows & a full size back door. My portable A/C unit down there has 2 exhaust ducts that push air out the window in the summertime. I'd love to see your design & possibly replicate the smoke exhaust out that window similar to how the A/C is run.

If I could somehow manage to convince the Mrs. that this will work and I can SMOKE INDOORS then I've found Shangri La!

Can't find the lump of coal emoji but that would be my first four days of Advent. @Havanaaddict, show me the way!

I really wish I could participate in a Cigar Advent calendar, but with temperatures currently around -20 and wicked winds cigar smoking for me is in full hibernation, with no real options for indoor cigars.  Love what you're doing!

Thanks for posting these. Family got a bug right before Xmas and usually pull out something special for Christmas. Not this year. Living through your experiences this year.
