Popular Post El Presidente Posted November 26 Popular Post Posted November 26 I was packing this morning for my Kuwait/Cyprus trip and went to find my lightweight three cigar travel case that I can pop into my Suit/Jacket pocket. Over the years I have collected a host of two and three finger leather cigar cases but I tend to gravitate to a simple one. I haven't travelled overseas since July/August and I managed to track down my favourite. Lo and behold, there was a cigar inside, a Nudie Queen Corona. No humidor for the3 + months, no care. It was a touch on the dry side but I decided to light it up. Brilliant experience, half way through it now as I tap away on last minute correspondence. 92+ so far. Sweet honey goodness. I am sure many of us have similar experiences. The cigar you found in your boat or camping gear that you simply forgot about only to discover randomly. They can look a little worse for wear but more times than not, in my experience, they smoke like a dream. It is a fine reminder that cigars are tough bastards indeed. 15
Popular Post Mr. DD Posted November 26 Popular Post Posted November 26 Those little surprises are what makes life so great! Like finding a $20 bill in your winter jacket. 5
Popular Post Li Bai Posted November 26 Popular Post Posted November 26 I've had a similar experience with a BRC a few years ago. It was at this moment I decided to stop worrying so much about RH and temperature. 11

Popular Post JohnS Posted November 26 Popular Post Posted November 26 I'm going to come out and say it. This has never happened to me. I know where all my cigars are! 🤣 5 10
Popular Post griller Posted November 26 Popular Post Posted November 26 Happened to me a while back with an tubos Upmann Coronas Major. Went to a party with the tubed cigar in my blazer pocket & never go around to smoking it. Found it the next time I wore the jacket (another party about 6 months later) and it was outstanding. 6
Popular Post Havanaaddict Posted November 26 Popular Post Posted November 26 I have come to believe this over the many years, guys over think the whole temp RH thing. Cigars are more resilient than we all think. Don't ge me wrong I still fallow the 65 RH / 65 Temp! 5 1

Lucas Buck Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Absolutely. This has happened to me more times than I can count. Cigars are resilient indeed. 4
NYGuido Posted November 26 Posted November 26 When this happens I usually panic and don’t smoke it and get mad that I wasted a stick. Maybe I should be a bit more open minded. 2

Popular Post poorman Posted Thursday at 07:50 PM Popular Post Posted Thursday at 07:50 PM We have an annual poker party for the Super Bowl, have for over 35 years. I always bring cigars for the gents. We started a new tradition this year, Word Series poker party. The host, always same place nowadays, dragged out a couple N1s from the Super Bowl game. Stored in a ziploc bag, no humidity control. They were great. I leave cigars in my golf bag for weeks on end in a plastic Xicar case and they’re always fine. 6
Fuzz AI Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Was clearing out my Alfa before I sold it and found a Zino No.8 tubo in the glovebox. Wondered how it got there, then realised I had thrown it in the glovebox after a masquerade party...4 years before. Smoked fine. 1
