This series seeks to explore whether a particular cigar is humidor worthy.

Cost these days is an issue for many so let's see if we can highlight some absolute standouts.  This should particularly assist those new to the cigar world.  

To be fair, most of the cigars we have featured to date have scored exceptionally well. Surprisingly well! 

Scoring is: 1-3 (Poor)   4-6 (Average to good)   7-10  (very good to excellent)  Use the Poll.

Today: Bolivar Royal Corona 

I am a BRC fan. I love the cocoa spine and If they were a touch fuller in nature, they would be an everyday cigar for me. 

Outside of the poll, which do you prefer and why? Let us know in this thread

Great cigar with some age, only slightly less enjoyable than the BBF. Somewhat inconsistent, but mostly good over the years.

I've only had aged ones -- which are always enjoyable -- but I don't have knowledge of the past 8 years issuances  ...so didn't put up a vote.

I have yet to have one. I’ve got a 6-pack sampler resting so I didn’t vote. All things considered, I am quite surprised to see the spread regarding blend consistency.

In the same vein that a football player is honored to be called a 'football player', the BRC is a capital 'c' Cigar.

I'm a big fan, I'd take a BBF over a BRC though.

BRCs are a default option in my humidor. Can't imagine not having them.

My least favourite Bolivar. BBF>CJ>PC>RC for regular production.

The whole Bolivar line has fallen the furthest. I don't find anything that I am excited about in their portfolio. Used to be my favorite marca.

I haven't been able to find any Bolivar at all since I actually started looking at CC's again this past year. My sources probably suck though. 😆  I have good memories of Bolivar as a marca from way back when, but it's been 10+ years since I smoked any. Interesting to know they've gone downhill a ways, but that seems to be true for multiple brands.
