The undergrowth looks awesome!

In some areas it really does, lots of flowers, shrubs and saplings. Other parts of the burn, nothing yet. Nice. How long is a day trip? Furthest we get our little dude (7 year old) is the Aurora or Cherry Creek Res these days. I never go to the mountains, I'm a bad Coloradan.

Those are good spots too! It was a solid 10 hour day. The girls usually beg us to go hiking or an adventure. Avoid I-70 and there are lots of gems to explore.

Those burn areas are always otherworldly. Hope the town recovers and thrives. It will definitely take some time. Jasper is definitely on my list of places to explore.
