my happy place Posted July 17, 2025 Posted July 17, 2025 I get the high age blend and their high quality production, but I can't imagine spending $750/cigar. 1 1
Wookie Posted July 18, 2025 Posted July 18, 2025 I got an Oro Blanco freebie in return for spending $1200 on cigars that I actually wanted. It was very good, but in no way exceptional. A 95 point cigar IMO. 1
MrBirdman Posted July 18, 2025 Posted July 18, 2025 The easiest reason to pass on this is the size. No cigar is worth even half that much, but if I were to spend that kinda dough on a cigar I’d want it to be perfectly in my wheelhouse. But it’s hard to cram 111 years worth of age into a Lancero or Lonsdale!
Cestis4 Posted July 18, 2025 Posted July 18, 2025 I was gifted one last NYE. My palate was blown already but, I remember it being a very enjoyable smoke. Of course, I didn’t pay for it and that certainly factors in to my opinion. None the less; I’d rather spend the money on a Davidoff Dom Perignon (which I’ve never had) or something similar. If you have the money, why not as they say.
