JohnS Posted Tuesday at 09:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:24 PM Happy Canada Day! Raise a glass of rye, eat some maple syrup on pancakes, smoke a Canadian Regional Edition cigar (if you have one) and practise that Québécois French they taught you at school with your neighbour today. And enjoy that sweltering 22°C (72°F) heat, while you have it! 3 1

Popular Post riderpride Posted Wednesday at 01:08 AM Popular Post Posted Wednesday at 01:08 AM Happy Canada Day all. Another one at the races - counrty style. Me and the boy (yes John, my son and I), and also my daughter (red hair) and a friend in a 3-legged race. Weather was beautiful around 30c and a breeze finally showed up by the 4th. I ended up batting .333 on my picks and padded the pockets a little. Cheers! 6

Weather extremes here have been increasing for about ten years now. Our days over 30°C in Calgary have gone from maybe three a year to twenty a year. It was a major factor behind me having central AC installed in our home a few years back. This May, Calgary saw weather in the high 20s, low 30s which is typically only reserved for July. But it was a very nice and temperate 27°C for Canada Day! 1
