Popular Post El Presidente Posted June 30 Author Popular Post Posted June 30 We will take out the top 5 tomorrow and then propose 5 new vitolas to take on the remaining cigars on the list. This will be done in a new poll. ......no charge to Habanos for this series 1 4

Fugu Posted July 1 Posted July 1 No. 5, No. 4, No. 2, Especiales No. 2. From a plain versatility standpoint - all I really need. They may keep their Edmundos - all of them. 1

I've only had a couple, but the two I've had were both solid, with one being really dang good. But the main reason I selected them is because I love the size. These and Sig 3s get wayyyy over looked imo. My choices were 1, 2 (hopefully if we delete some of the other rubbish these will get more consistent!), Especial 1, and Tubos. 1
my happy place Posted July 1 Posted July 1 I went with No's. 1, 2, 3 and DE and thought to myself, "Am I really this boring?" haha!

With guys there on the Monte Tubos, @joeypots and @gormag38 (yet they didn’t make my shortlist). I’ve got some of more recent singles (acquired in 2023, so likely 2022/23 production) and they are otherworldly. The aroma emanating from the cigars in their tubes already is intoxicating. So hard to find them now. I’ve even got a standing “request” with some of my dealers. If I had to choose between these and the No. 1, the Tubos will win (when at this level), when between the Tubos and the Espi 2, I’d go with the Espi 2. 2
TheGipper Posted July 2 Posted July 2 My main makeover objective in this scenario would be to get SLB packaging on at least one size. Montecristo hasn't had that since, what, the 1970s?
Jerryvonkramer Posted July 2 Posted July 2 1, 2, 3, 4 (and 5). I'm a sucker for how "classic" that lineup is. The No 1s and No 3s are hugely underrated for some reason. I'd be interested if Rob shared sales ratios between them. 4

Internationally, in terms of volume, there is no reason for them to exist today. Superb cigars. No audience at the price point demanded. 4 3
Lucas Buck Posted Friday at 02:33 AM Posted Friday at 02:33 AM Went with 1, 2, 3 & Especial. Rough one for me as Monte is my second favorite marca after Cohiba. Other than the flavorless open series I love them all. 1

Is there any particular reason people don't smoke Londsales or Coronas?

Such a shame as they were the best vitolas in most marcas. Miss them big time. 2

Spectacular box. Petit No. 2 - I fell in love with these in Havana and have a few 10cts. Controversial choice, apparently. Monte A - how can you not include this beast in the list? Only A still in production and the ones I've had have been amazing. My Super Bowl cigar - only once a year (until the BR Fenómenos arrives). Wide Edmundo - I am really impressed with this new release. Each I've had has been a 90 point cigar. Petit #2 gang here, too. We’re very much in the minority, but got to represent!
