Bond Roberts Línea D No.01 Arrives at Stores

Last fall, Bond Roberts released its second cigar, though only at one store.

The Bond Roberts Línea D No.01 is a 7 1/4 x 50 cigar that uses a 109-style cap, a hybrid between the typical round cap of a parejo and the pointed tip of a belicoso. Blend-wise, it uses a Honduran wrapper over a Honduran binder and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. On paper, that’s the same specifications as the Bond Roberts Línea D No.06 (5 7/8 x 50), though the company says the blends are “completely different.” Both cigars were blended by Hamlet Paredes, who works for Bond Roberts, and production is handled by Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. in Honduras.

Each cigar has an MSRP of $US21.

“The response to the 109 at launch was fantastic,” said Rob Ayala, ceo of Bond Roberts, in a press release. “We’re thrilled to now make it available to cigar lovers around the world. Once again, Hamlet Paredes and the Fabrica 5 team have delivered an outstanding cigar, while Angel Miranda Battle has elevated the experience with striking, elegant packaging.”

In October, the cigar went on sale at J.J. Fox’s store in London. The Fox family, which owns J.J. Fox, is a partner in Bond Roberts and handles distribution in the U.K. Ravi Mahbubani of COH Cigars is handling distribution for Asia and the rest of Europe.

I see that COH no longer ships to the US. Could you please tell me what are the available options to get Petit 109 Linea D Number 6 in the US? Thanks!

Bond Roberts Cigars Announces Global Release of Línea D No.01

Bond Roberts Cigars is pleased to announce the global release of its second exclusive cigar, the Línea D No.01, following its successful debut at the iconic J.J. Fox in London in late 2024.

The Línea D No.01, known simply as the 109, features a new vitola (50 ring gauge x 7¼ inches) with a Honduran wrapper and binder, complemented by a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers.

This new release builds on the success of Bond Roberts’ first offering, the Línea D No.06, a Petit 109 format that garnered critical acclaim upon its launch in early 2024.

“The response to the 109 at launch was fantastic,” said Rob Ayala, CEO of Bond Roberts. “We’re thrilled to now make it available to cigar lovers around the world. Once again, Hamlet Paredes and the Fabrica 5 team have delivered an outstanding cigar, while Angel Miranda Battle has elevated the experience with striking, elegant packaging.”

Distributed in the UK by J.J. Fox and across Europe and Asia by Ravi Mahbubani of COH Cigars, Bond Roberts plans to release up to 12 cigars across various lines over the next three years.

The Bond Roberts Línea D No.01 (109) is now available at select cigar merchants and online retailers, with an expected MSRP of USD $21.
