El Presidente Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Throw your hat into the ring and lend a hand in relation to the new BR Site Beta testing. The new BR Auction site (stage 1) goes live next month and I need OCD types (that wouldn't have eliminated many ) with buying /selling experience of the existing site to step on up and give us a hand. Ken Alex groom will be leading the testing but I will be placing all names on this thread into a hat tomorrow and picking 10. Why 10? Alex told me 10. The way this will work is that we will have our own secret chat group. You will be given the keys. I will then leave you all alone with Alex's (Groom and Retamal) to work through the new site over a week or so. Kicks off Monday. If you have some experience with Bond Roberts (buyer or seller or both), and would like to help, say "i'm happy to help" below on this thread. Mods, you welcome to join. Except Ken. Those not selected blame the hat. I will make it up to you. 1
yossie Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I'm happy to help. I just recalled I was a software QA engineer for only a year.
El Presidente Posted June 3 Author Posted June 3 Thanks Gents. I will let this run a little longer to allow a few others to throw their hat into the ring.
Marco_011t556 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Plenty of buyer experience but nil seller experience. I’m happy to help. 1
Habanoschris Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I'm happy to help. I am listing 12 boxes on BR soon, mostly 2018/19. I have a few purchases but these will be my first sales.
El Presidente Posted June 4 Author Posted June 4 Cheers guys. Many thanks. Out comes the hat this evening. The magnificent 10 will receive a PM request to participate
chasy Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Random idea - recently folks were talking about the newly released boxes popping up on BR with high reserve prices / buy it now prices. There was some debate on how to address people that are very likely flipping brand new stock. I can see both sides of the argument. Potential solution - don't create any requirements around box age, but require boxes less than 12 months old to set the reserve price at MSRP. This might prevent people from clogging BR listings with brand new releases with reserve prices 100% above the current MSRP. Just an idea. 2
