Spring is my most physically demanding time of the year. There’s weed whacking to be done, firewood, to be cut and split, and of course golf. After six days of.”work” I’m ready for a day of sports on TV and some nice cigars. So after breakfast and some light gardening, I’m ready for some coffee, a nice cigar and an Indy car race.

I'm starting my horizontal Sunday with a well aged long corona. It’s a nicely filled cigar, 11g, it has a shiny golden brown colorado wrapper with a perfect Cuban draw that has a sweet floral citrus flavor.

1/3 opens with cream, citrus and tropical fruit flavors. I feel like I should be sitting at the beach on some island with a fresh coconut spiked with rum. It’s medium bodied and honey and vanilla start coating my mouth.

2/3 I’m getting a delicious sweet white pepper finish and the honey vanilla flavor has turned into a light brown caramel, it’s a lip licker.

3/3 body has crept up to medium full with caramel and sweet earthy toasted tobacco. Razor sharp burn the whole way with no touch-up or relights.

Perfect choice to start with, a 90+ min. cigar for a 90 minute race. Next stop Miami for the F1 race and cigar number two..
