Boveda - No Big News, Just Better Use

A number of us use Boveda for our Humidors/Tupperdors/Storage Solutions for our inventory. The article below is just a suggestion for use by Boveda for their product. I don't know about you, but my 60 gram packs last a lot longer than the life expectancy (of the Boveda packs) mentioned below...

No Big News, Just Better Use

Sean Knutsen from Boveda cannot tell us about a new product. With the science and technology behind the Boveda products the company focus is on keeping up with this great and reliable product.

But some good information for the users is, that he suggests that if you use the 320 Boveda the cigars will be kept perfectly up to 3 to 6 months up to a humidor size of 100 cigars. But if you have the space in your humidor, you might put in two of the 320 bags, and it will last from 9 to 12 month for every 100 cigars.

Compared to the regular size which holds your cigars perfectly between 2 to 3 months up to 25 cigars.

With average temp and humidity here in Ireland, boveda packs almost last a lifetime…

I have two 320 boveda 62's in each of my coolidors. They are as fresh as four years ago when I put them in. They will last forever if you keep your humidity levels in check.

Agree, a lot probably depends on where you are located.

Exactly! In my weathertights, one 320 in each are like brand new.

I notice sometimes my humidity dips a little below my liking, so I’ll put a small glass of distilled water in my Coolerdor - auto recharge.

82%RH where I live. I try and keep them at 62% and my boveda are going strong 4 years in.
