Sorry for your loss man. All we can do is try and show them as much love as they adore us. My dog when I wasa kid was a gold lab. Miss her to this day.

Very sorry for your loss. It's never easy and every time you lose one you say I'm not doing this again. The years of joy with them outweighs the pain of letting them go.

Thanks everyone. It was hard going home yesterday from work, knowing he wouldn't be there. And this morning waking up and leaving for work without giving him his usual scratch and cuddle. Will take some time to get used to this new norm. At least I have plenty of memories to reminisce.
