Good win by your Ms! My Tigers have some big decisions to make this off season. Good job beating the Jays in G1 too! 👏 1

riderpride Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 Jays came back to life thanks to Gimenez. It was a waste to put Fluharty out there tonight. Not even Yariel could have blown that. That said - we better not see Yariel or Hoff on the mound next year 🫣 Let's hope the Brewers make a series of it tomorrow. Cheers! 1
Ford2112 Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 😲Wow. Can the Brew Crew come back from a 2-0 deficit against the boys in blue? I hope so. A Dodger fan asked me how I felt about the postseason when he overheard me talking about the Mariners. I told him I was a Giants fan and couldn't talk about LA. He just laughed, same as Mike... 2

Ford2112 Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 I think everyone watching baseball knows how good the Dodgers are. They are the team to beat. 2

riderpride Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 (edited) Mad Max knows how to handle a micro-manager 🤣 Also, apologies to IKF. You've made up for ALDS Gm 3. ETA - John Schneider's comment when asked about that moment during the presser: "I loved it - I thought he was going to kill me" Edited October 17, 2025 by riderpride Update 3

Jays in 6 sounds greedy, but if the bats keep showing up like this... I'd take it. 🔥 1
Ford2112 Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 I really am pulling for the Ms to make it to their first fall classic. I now want to light the Brewer's stadium on fire.

It would be awesome to watch the M's in the World Series. I just hope whoever wins this series can beat the Dodgers. It will be a tall order but we can hope. 1
Ford2112 Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 I laugh because as much as I detest the Dodgers, I dont see any holes in them right now. It makes me SICK!! 1 1
riderpride Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 John Schneider did his best to, and indeed, manage to botch this one. No disrespect to Little, but he was the wrong tool for the job and he was put in a bad situation. Jays have blown 2 this series with Gaus having good-to-great starts. Just roll Bassitt in after Yesavage in Gm 6 and close with Sir and/or Hoff. That's why they're where they are. If you don't trust that, then it should be addressed at the deadline. I could accept tonight if Schneider could just take accountability. Either way, the American League is in tough in the World Series. Cheers! 1
Ford2112 Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 Well. Ohtani is pretty well a hero in LA tonight. 2

Need a SAVAGE Gm 6. 3-2 coming back home is technically what it's supposed to be. I'll take being back in Toronto and needing to win both after Game 1 and 2. 1

Last night he put up the most impressive stats / individual effort in a single game in playoff history, arguably the best game in all of MLB history. Pitched 6 shutout innings, 10 strikeouts and got the win and hit 3 home runs. 3 1

Down by 1 after the series start isn't a bad place to be and every team has won back-to-back games at home this year. Mariners pitched well the whole game with the exception of Woo picking Springer. Hopefully he's okay and can be in good form for Gm 6. Cheers! 1

Popular Post Ford2112 Posted October 18, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 18, 2025 Ohtani was a hall of famer when he was born. Nobody knew it yet. Now everybody does. What he did likely will never be repeated. Except by him. And I am as anti Dodgers as anyone on God's green earth, but to not be impressed with how that organization is rolling right now would just be hating for hating's sake. They are the benchmark, and yeah they throw around money like gangbusters, but if your team did that you would be cheering all the way to the Fall Classic! The Dodgers aren't going away anytime soon. You better have the pitching to stymie that lineup, and you damn well better have a bangin' offense. 6
