MoeFOH Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Podcasts are a big part of my morning routine but, at the moment, I find myself relistening to episodes on favourite pods and/or a little unenthused by new stuff dropping... or low frequency thereof... (Lounge Lizards exempt from the above, of course ) What are y'all digging at the moment? Any theme, style or topic. Just whatever you regard as top-shelf. Cheers. 1
BigTone Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Idk if YouTube channels count but I've been enjoying Cigar Inspector, Cigar Carpenter, and Creekside Cigar club videos. This supplements my weekly lounge lizards pod. But I always go back to Dr.Joe, just to hear him go off lol! 1
Jtupps Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I'm working my way through the "fallen civilisations" podcast. Highly recommended! 2
Grimlock Posted February 20 Posted February 20 The Cigar Authority is worth a listen just to get to the Aladino commercial. 1
Popular Post GP012 Posted February 20 Popular Post Posted February 20 Acquired has been an interesting listen if you're into business & brands. 5

Acquired is arguably the best business podcast I listen to. Not a current event podcast, but rather a deep dive into specific businesses. The Costco, Nike and LVMH episodes are 110% worth listening to. 2
chasy Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I listen to All In. Very much America-centric, so I’m not sure how interesting it would be for a non-US audience. I’ve been listening for years, took a short break, and am fully back on it. 2
LizardGizmo Posted February 20 Posted February 20 When Ross Ulbricht got pardoned, I was very curious to understand the story of the Silk Road. Found this three part story on the Case File podcast and couldn’t believe how crazy the story was: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/casefile-true-crime/id998568017?i=1000401943443 2
Habanos2000 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 https://jockopodcast.com/ I first came across Jocko in 2018, his military background and explanation of how Discipline Equals Freedom and Extreme Ownership can improve all aspects of your life really hit home with me. He has a vast array of guests and book reviews on his podcast that always make for interesting listening. Go get some! 4
riderpride Posted February 20 Posted February 20 1) Spittin Chicklets is a must for any fan of hockey. 2) Crime Beat. Nancy Hixt is a Calgary-based reporter and has seen some nasty stuff; she hasn't been afraid to point the finger. As a reporter, she shook up a triple murder suspect to the point he started 'talking'. The guy simply fell apart from there. Cheers 2

chasy Posted February 24 Posted February 24 FYI Acquired podcast just dropped the Rolex episode today. 5 hours long. I'm willing to bet this will be the most comprehensive review of Rolex to date. The reason these two guys get the unprecedented access is because they do such a phenomenal job. 2
Wlu1988 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I can’t speak to other episodes of this podcast because I’ve been told that the host will get a little far out there politically but I just listened to 3 parts of Tom Satterly on the Sean Ryan Show podcast. Satterly is a former US Army Ranger who served in the battle of Mogadishu (Black Hawk Down film) and has worked as an advocate for mental health care for vets since leaving the service.
Dr Process Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Check out “The Rest is History”. Episodes are generally close to an hour long. They discuss ancient, medieval, and modern history. I’m hooked!
BlueWS Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Sean Ryan was cool for some war stories...and that's where it starts and stops for me. I quickly unsubscribed.
Ciscojohansson Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I feel shame writing this. Candice Ownes' five episode series on Birgitte Macron being a man was fascinating. Enough kook sphere for me with the five episodes. Skip the first 10 minutes, very repetitive.
