El Habano Moderno: Connoisseur's Edition

When El Habano Moderno was announced on Kickstarter, there were different editions made available (including the Kickstarter, Retail and Collector's editions). The Connoisseur's Edition was made available for only 8 backers, and I understand 3 were sold (feel free to correct me here, @ATGroom!). If you aren't familiar with this very special release, the details for this listing are included below:

Our Connoisseur's Edition book represents the ultimate expression of El Habano Moderno. Hand-bound by a master craftsman in a bespoke leather binding with gold accents, and presented in a handmade custom humidor, only 8 books in this magnificent edition will be made available. Each will be hand-signed, personalised, and numbered by the author. Whilst you wait for your luxury edition to arrive, a Retail Edition, a signed and numbered copy of the Collector's Edition, and a signed Kickstarter Edition book will be sent directly to you as soon as they are available.

That's absolutely heirloom quality humidor indeed! The El Habano Moderno leather-bound edition is also fantastic and antique which reminds me of Gothic style leather-bound books.

Yes, it was limited to eight and they were 8k u.s. I believe. I've never seen one, looks incredible/wish I had one!

Eight were available to order back when we first launched the Kickstarter at the start of 2022. The idea was we were going to make 10, with the extras going to myself and the publisher.

The package also included all the other editions of the books (white, blue, red), the leatherbound book, all the posters (including an exclusive one), an engraved cutter etc.  

It wasn't very well marketed as we didn't have even a render of the humidor at that point, so basically you just had to put down your money sight unseen. Only three of the 8 were ordered.

I think we were at some point planning to produce some extra for stock or at least make them available to order on demand, but as things transpired, the whole project was a total nightmare. The three different suppliers all had big issues come up that caused months of compounding delays. The three that were ordered have been delivered now, but I don't think there's much enthusiasm to produce any more.

Well it really is a beautiful Humidor with the Ancient Greek scenes! I wish I could afford something like that as I love humidors.

You did a great job, regardless of the delays.
