Partyshrts Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 My #1 would be a Romeo Churchill from 1991. Before they changed all the Marcas wrappers in 1997. #2 would be Partagas Shorts from 2019. I started smoking Shorts with my old man in the 90's on fishing trips so I'm a little partial. I think everyone's favorite is tied to a memory. #3 is PLPC's, I gravitate to the smaller Vitolas. 1
SingleBarrel Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Fonseca No 1, have boxes from the 70’s-2023, they always deliver. Por Larrañaga Panetelas, short smokes and requires a prayer to find them but always puts out the most delightful and obscure flavors. Por Larrañaga Petit Coronas, have had them from the 90’s-today’s time. Special when it delivers butterscotch. A cigar that reminds you of it the day following fire. 2
Jerryvonkramer Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 For me: Upmann Sir Winston - remains the best cigar I’ve ever had Bolivar Belicoso Finos - never disappoints, knock out every time Por Larranga Petit Corona - the quintessential PC, salted caramel bomb every time and contrary to received wisdom ROTT. 1
PigFish Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 I tend to only concern myself with one cigar at a time. I am a sexagenarian however and can be easily be distracted by things like women in tight jeans… and if that woman has left the room without turning off the TV. 1
xau Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Vegas Robaina Famosos PLPC Partagas Shorts * Connie 2 If I just had these available to me I think i’d be alright.
jakebarnes Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 All-time list Party SdC #1 Lusi LGC Medialle d'or #2 Modern day List Lusi JL1 PLPC
JoeyBones777 Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Top 3 ever smoked: 1. 2012 Monte 2 (5 years aged) 2. 2019 CoRo (fresh) 3. 2019 Sir Winston (fresh) Top 3 consistent (mainly based on what I've bought that I was able to afford): 1. RASS (4-5 years age) - the velvety smoke texture, extreme smoothness in retro, sweet floral stone fruit is an absolute pleasure to smoke. 2. BBF (3-5 years age) - smooth smoking Guiness accentuated by leather and mushroom, incredible. 3. Party D4 (fresh & aged) - sweet spice twang, a quintessential Cuban experience.
RDB Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Only three cigars ever again? Endless supply? Then Lusi, Esplendido and Monte 1 or 2. Runner up Fundy. Back on Planet Earth, three good options? PSD4, RG Perla or PC, and PLPC. 1
Havanaaddict Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 These would be at the top of my list for the top 3 cigars I have had. But I doubt I will ever get to smoke them again. #1 70’s J. J. Fox Punch Nectares No.2 #2 80’s Dunhill Cabinetta #3 70’s Davidoff Château Yquem 1
chasy Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 I’ll be honest, shocked to see PLPC pop up so much. I suppose I should get a box…?
