Mooloolaba update

as a kid, spent endless Christmas holidays up there. pretty much everyone you knew just headed up north. only 90 minutes or so. great place. much, MUCH, more built up now than when i was young.

I know some people from Walla Walla Bing Bang. :D

If you love that name, come visit. You'll be endlessly entertained by places with indigenous names. Wagga Wagga, Goonoo Goonoo (pronounced gunna goonu), Mudgeeraba... which I'm just learning it's thought that the name of the town was derived from an Indigenous Australian expression meaning, "place of infant's excrement", "place where someone told lies" or "place of sticky soil".[6][2] Another theory is that the name means "low-lying ground" :rotfl:

That’s funny. Before our visit last year at this time, we had to google the pronunciation and practice it for months to get it down.

It’s a great name and a great town.
