What's up for the weekend? 

 

I have somehow managed to do my back in. This weekend will be one of "rest and rehab" in the hope that it comes good by Monday. I will try to cook up something a little special this evening for Di and I ......but outside of that....I am benched 

I will live vicariously through you good people.

I hope your back heals up stronger, and the meal is phenomenal! Celebrating my daughters birthday of 2 years today! Born on 2/2/22! The women in the house are making some amazing food and the family is all coming over, Prime rib made in house, and then they got catering from the best place in town, Ludvigs bistro that mixes Mediterranean food with Alaskan Seafood!

Going to try and review my first Connie No 2 today so that's pretty exciting! First big vitola or the biggest CC I have tried. But I'm stuck now deciding between the Connie 2 that's been resting for 3 months and the PSD4 I just got in a week ago?

What would you recommend? Either way there both getting smoked soon and am leaning more towards the Connie 2 but I'm not sure if I want to smoke the smaller PSD4 because I have 1hr and 30min - 2 hours to smoke before I have to start getting the party ready and I smoke pretty slow. I'm not sure if I want to rush the stick but also not sure if the PSD4 is ready? Connie 2 might be perfect for the 2/2/24 day 😁

Sunday, planning on some indoor golf at a place that just opened up near me.  Then we are heading to Lake Geneva, WI to meet my daughter and her boyfriend for dinner and then off to the Ice Castles experience which is supposed to be "amazing" according to my wife.  Something to do besides the usual is ok by me this time of year.

Father-daughter dance tonight. Kids stuff the rest of the weekend - basketball, flag football, birthday party. Lots of rain.

The usual morning workout was a bit more strenuous than usual? That's no good..no good at all!  As a sufferer of back ailments, 'off' and 'on', over the years, I do hope you recover in the next day or two.

As for me, I am enjoying a turn in the weather this Saturday morning. You see, the weather of late, on the east coast of Australia, has been overly wet and hot (in the state of Queensland) or so humid it feels like one is in a sauna continually (in the state of New South Wales).

Of course, I need to catch up on some cigar smoking before the 'sauna-like' weather returns!

Gotta get caught up on cigar reviews for Monday.  That's complicated somewhat as I'm doing a guest spot on Cigar Jukebox Saturday to air Monday on the Super Bowl and the follow up from our pre-season playoff predictions.

I honestly don't know as I've had a great run of both younger and older Partagas Serie D No.4s of late and I really haven't had enough H.Upmann Connossieur No.2s to comment. If I had that choice, truthfully, I'd smoke both over the weekend...if I could. Otherwise, I'd smoke one and save the other one for the next time I can get time to smoke.

Not the best weather here lately. So, just some relaxing and enjoying stogies for me. Guess that doesn't sound so bad 😆 

@El Presidente, I hope you get some good rest and recover quickly. I've been there too many times. It's no fun. Hope you get to enjoy some good cigars during the recovery 👍

Oh, hope all is well with you Rob. The weather is good in Hong Kong, had a brunch with girlfriend in Stanley (the beach), hang around Clear Water Bay as well.

Awesome thank you, I ran short on time so I smoked a HUHC from March '22 that was great. Yeah great advice it just came down to too much stuff in one day and I wanted to really sit and enjoy it and not feel rushed and really take it all in. You've convinced me if I can fit in both, then I'm gonna go for it this weekend then let the rest take a nap.

This weekend was super quick somehow and here we go.. work again.  I finished some things which i planned to finish, like found the service which wrote my essay https://academized.com/write-my-essay . That was my task number one for this weekend and was happy it is accomplished. Besides that i had some quality time with my family and became a little closer to my little daughter.
