I’m a wood worker who appreciates quality design/construction. Been making chippendale, shaker and federalist furniture for 25 years as a hobbyist. I own an Elie Bleu humidor I bought about 25 years ago for around $1800 I think.  It is a beautifully constructed amboyna burl veneered box. Most humidors I’ve seen outside elie Bleu have not been well-made…..but I can’t recall having seen a DuPont humidor. Does anybody own one? Are they beautifully made? Def sounds pricey at $32k.

“Collector’s” item.

You will not really expect a true monetary equivalent value there?!

The very same with the PCC anniversary release. About triple to quadruple the value of what would be the theoretical “expected” retail value. Well, at least it’s sporting a ‘tiger’...

Haha, yes well aware that this is a ridiculous markup.  I’ve just never seen a ST DuPont humidor up close. I know Elie bleu well and they are works of art. I’ve seen some Daniel Marshall humidors that I would be embarrassed to call my own work.
