FOH Smoking and Spending Trends.

Just keeping a finger on the pulse. I doubt any of us could have predicted the changes over the past three years. I am certainly not comfortable predicting the next three:

Let's take a reading on the State of the Nation as we wrap up 2023.

I got into the Cuban cigar bug in 2008, after 10+ years smoking NC's. BTW, first box bought from online vendor was Bolivar Royal Corona. I believe it was $180 usd. Those were the days!

For me I smoke more on the golf course these days and for that I’ve found NCs handle the wind and sun and dropping on the floor etc much better than Cubans. They’re in no way good cigars. Decent, but not good. But Cubans aren’t worth wasting on the golf course at current prices. Sitting down and relaxing is a time only for Cubans.

What are you playing off Mus?

I've found some Non-Cubans that really hit the spot for me and are far cheaper than CCs. I can't see myself buying CC's much again although I'd like to hope I could afford a box of BBFs and RA Gigantes in a few years if they're around. But with the interest rates and everything else rising yet again I can't see myself buying any cigars in any quantity for a while now.

How dare you call me out like this you prick. Such humiliation making me put my golf prowess here in public view. Where’s the pitchfork emoji!

Casual 100 shooter. 95 on a good day. 105 on a bad. Consistently double bogeyer with a few singles and a par here and there.

That include the 2-stroke penalty for building a stance? 😀
