Timbballin Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 I got a few PLPC that have some greenish spots on them, anyone have any helpful info? should I pull them out of the humidor?
Popular Post NSXCIGAR Posted September 6, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 6, 2023 It's chlorophyll left over from imperfect curing. Very common. 5
Corylax18 Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Yup. Not a problem. The leaves may have been pinched, or crushed in those spots during harvest, so the chlorophyll doesn't break down like it does in the rest of the leaf. 1
BoliDan Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Frog Eyes. The lighter the wrapper the more common in Cuba. Will not negatively effect the quality of the stick. 1
Timbballin Posted September 7, 2023 Author Posted September 7, 2023 Pending the replies I’ve done my due diligence 🫡 they’ve since been allowed back with their family in the cabinet 🥳😅 1 1
Tradesman Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 My BRM AGO 22 PLPC cab has a few that have green spots as well I thought to smoke them first since as “defects” they wouldn’t age as well Turns out they are the most delicious sticks of the whole cab I’ve smoked so far 😂 so long story short, you’re good brother 1
