There's a quite a few of them, they are not as uncommon in NC as people think. They are often advertised as Corona's though, not Petit Coronas, no idea why. Few that I enjoy: Tatuaje Miami Noellas, the aforementioned Illusione Le Grand Classe Rex, Oliva Serie V. No. 4. Illusione also has the MK and Ultra MK, haven't had one in quite a long time though (may need to fix that). I used to really enjoy the Quesada Espana Corona, though recent examples haven't been as good as the original release. There's also some that are fairly close in size but not quite like the Black Works Studio Killer Bee Petite Corona (another favorite of mine).

Don't have a dog in the fight. I don't tend to buy NC PCs except davidoff 2000 which are great but priced the same. I love me a single 2 or PLPC though.

Habanos keeps killing them. HUPC, JLPC, PPC, RyjPC, Non Plus... Etc. I'm guessing that's how demand is going through

not even slightly true.

It’s true for me. I have yet to smoke a NC PC that has proven to me otherwise.

Not a PC according to the letter of the law, but the 43 gauge 'belicoso' capped 5.12 inch Fuente Don Carlos #4 is a favorite of mine and, best of all, goes for 9 US bucks.

you didn't say pc in your post.  You said that all non cubans are one dimensional.  A goofy untrue statement.

I have no input on non-cuban pc's because I find the PC one of the worst sizes of cigars and I don't smoke them.

I've had quite a few NC Petite Coronas and only 2 really come close to what Cuba offers. Highclare Castle from Foundation Cigars and Opus X Perfecxion #4 with at least 2 years down.

Highclare stacks up very well against the Monte 4, PLPC, and Boli PC. Highclare comes in 3 different shades and they all offer a little something different.

I'd actually take a Perfecxion #4 over a Siglo II if they're both between 2-5 years of age. After 5 years the Siglos will shine but I generally don't enjoy them very much before then. And I really won't smoke either before 2 years, far too much mongrel for my taste.

Dont really think any NC PC can come close to a good cuban. I do ocassionally pick up Opus Perfecxion 5 from a local shop. Illusione has the Lagunas which I believe are made with no ligero. They are a decent smoke.

+1 to the Perfecxion #4 note. Albeit based on just a few examples I have been lucky to enjoy.

I've been a die hard Habanos smoker for over 2 decades. They have all been mentioned here already.

Recently as in the last several months I have been trying to find anything ion the NC world that I can enjoy as much as a CC. Surprisingly there are a few good brands out there that I can enjoy. Not as good as a CC but enjoyable all the same and usually at a fraction of the cost. For PC's those would be; Black works studio Killer bee. An excellent PC but IMO still over priced at 6bucks a stick plus. Curivari, cafe PC. Not as good as the killer bee but very good and at a better price point. And finally Tatuaje Black PC. Also one of the best PC's out there and at a decent price point. Only 4 x 40 but still a great little cigar for 4 bucks.

One that doesn't exist but I would like to see is West Tampa Black in a PC format. One of my favorite NC cigars thats excellent from start to finish. Rich and complex but again at the upper end of what I am willing to spend on a NC.

Now hold on a minute here: you mention 4 cigars and three of them have the word 'black' somewhere in the name. Coincidence? Or can we identify a bias in your preference here?

Upmann PC is gone isn't it? Over to you @El Presidente  I'm sure Hamlet loves trying to match Cuban flavour profiles. Ha ha! Same same, but different! How does the Nudie PC compare flavourwise to the old Upmann? Cheers

Gone it is. Hammy hates matching flavour profiles. I am the one who has a certain flavour profile and heads the blending in that direction.

In terms of H. Upmann, our N4 is closer to the old Upmann Number 4 than the more recent Upmann PC.

That’s interesting, I’ve only had one Highclere Castle and I hated it. I wonder if it just needed more time down?

I have almost zero experience with any aged Highclere, but I feel as though that's always an option. I also come from a very NW dominated background so our tastes just might not align

Cheers, now when my horse salutes on Saturday, I will load up on Nudie Carlota, PC and very much looking forward to the Gorda. Sounds in my hitting zone. Although Hamlet, absolutely loves his 109 blend. Hmmmmm..... Thanks again for including us in the journey.
