It indicates raw/underferemented tobacco. (NOT extra fermentation) A mediocre cigar My sentiments exactly, I had one really standout Coro from 2012 box. “Lemongrass” is not a flavor I look for in cigars.
Chas.Alpha
I hadn't had one for many years prior to the 2019 Christmas sampler. They were much better than I had remembered them to be. Cinnamon, the good kind of lemon grass, honey and baking spice like a holiday cookie. Love them! Bought a 6 pack on 24/24 in 2020 and all were delightful. Bought a 2020 box to let them age a couple of years, but now I can't in good conscience smoke them because I can't afford to replace them... 😔

Why pay "those prices" (2005 prices at that) when Partagas and Bolivar were so spectacular. I held that belief right up to the moment I bought a 3 pack of CoRo. The intoxicating aroma gave me reason to doubt my long held belief, once lit I knew I was wrong. By the halfway point I knew I would never buy another robusto. Then HSA raised their prices and now I believe farm rolls are the only robusto I will ever buy again. Get off your wallet. Edit: @monetrey Signal Joe is a friend, a CoRo whore and I am ribbing him. There is no malice intended. 2
PuroDiario
I am visiting family in Gijon. Came to see Tania. Inventory is decimated. She had aside two boxes of CoRo for me. I bit that bullet and paid. They are beautiful. I feel dirty. Jajajaja

brooksyfoodlove
When on, this and the PSD4 are the best cigars in the world according to my palate.
Groucho.
I have never had a really good one. Perhaps it's the years I've been buying? There have been some sales in the past and I've always made a purchase here and there. I'm not sure if I am just getting duds or the blend is not that great in my book. Price aside (Because Rob said so) as others have mentioned I'd rather RA SS, BOL RC or Serie D# - heck even a RyJ Ex #4 from a 50 cab I'll select over a CoRo.

Killing it’s reputation. Can be beautiful cigars with 5 plus years of age. I have smoked hundreds of them over the years and most smoked very well along with the JL2. My 2 favorite Robustos. The cigar needs downtime even though there is an extra fermentation. With the ridiculous price increases on Cohiba, I will be saving what I have left for more special occasions. Even though I really like them they are not worth the new and honestly ridiculous pricing to me.
