I had a long discussion about the H. Upmann Petit Corona on Friday. Memories can indeed fade. ;)

For those familiar with the cigar....do the poll and let's see how much consensus we can achieve

I have memories of HUPC and still have a few boxes. No idea what the HU No4 is though so question 3 was just a random response as it couldnt be left blank.

HUPC was my favorite Mareva besides the Monte4 and the RGPC. Have one box left so enjoy them sparingly. This cigar being discontinued still pisses me off.

I recall HU 4 being pretty straight down the middle but I can't say I can really recall enough to compare. You don't see them much any more.

I am stunned more folks picked the Upmann petit corona as fuller than the Upmann number 4.

The Upmann 4 could be a beast. :whip:

I had a box of Upmann PCs once, IIRC bought in Dubai APT in the 2000s.  Good but nothing to mourn too much compared with other discontinued smokes.

A favorite of mine. When I heard the axe was coming down on it I did like Pierre Salinger and scooped as many boxes as I could afford. Time to crack into one and refresh my memory...

Same. I was able to grab 4 2016 boxes at Club Habana in 2018, and another handful through other sources after they where discontinued.

I still have most of them, its a cigar I can never seem to find the right occasion for. They were one of my favorites, in one of my favorite sizes, I still haven't completely gotten over their discontinuation, or found a suitable replacement.

I always found them to be right around medium body, maybe a touch over. But never light on the flavors.

Yea...the #4 was a lovely powerhouse.

For me the new strains this century changed Upmann more than any other brand. No more rich earthy flavor, not that I don’t like shortbread cookies and vanilla cream, but I do miss that forest floor just after a rain flavor. Upmann’s could really be a powerhouse, now there a trip to grandma’s house for tea and cookies.
