Big week for me! After 12 months on a 10 month job (supply issues, back ordered equipment, etc.) I finally got a Certificate of Occupancy on Friday!!! 😀

A couple more weeks of tightening screws and touch up paint and I’m done. I have 2 months of PTO accrued and intend on talking at least a week off!🍺😜

As most if not all of us know by now, the recent D4’s have been stellar. Moody, woody, a touch of cocoa/coffee and savory spice. The best of the Partagas marca. Drop a master case of these on my deserted island and I’ll call you back in 20 years 🙂

@Elpresidente started a great topic about music that exemplifies our thoughts on HSA and their new marketing strategy. My 1st thought was “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” by George Harrison. I then posted “Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End” written by Lord Paul. Damn you, Damn You! In the end, the love they take is equal to the love they make... 😳 I couldn’t leave John out at this point, so I posted “How Do You Sleep.” It’s what happens when two great song writers have a tanty.

I went out on my back patio, lit the D4 and began playing what everybody else’s songs for HSA were. Most were songs I was familiar with, some I’d never heard before. Great compilation, mates!!! Sticking with the Beatles, if I were to post a song for the new caste of Cohiba/Trinidad smokers I would have to go with “Baby You’re a Rich Man.” You now have to be one of the beautiful people to smoke them. I guess that’s what HSA wants? 🤔

Glad that these recent D4 are still kicking @Chas.Alpha! I have HQ D4 6er and Clearance D4 box in my CC collection; I hope that I'll have positive experience with these D4s, since one of my Korean FOH buddies really enjyoed my HQ D4 6er so much 😄

Nice review. No longer my favorite in the Partagas line like they were 20 yrs ago. Seem way too light these days. I prefer D6, 898 or E2. I do have a couple 25 ct boxes and am smoking out of a couple 10 cts that have been inconsistent at best. One excellent the next one just ok. When on they can be pretty good.

Nice review, @Chas.Alpha ! When I think of Habanos S.A these days, I remember the Beatles song, "For No One". After all, the line...'a love that should have lasted years' describes aptly how they have treated the relationship with their loyal customers of late.
