Popular Post Bri Fi Posted December 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 29, 2021 I’ve been in the market for a used wine cellar. It’s my close-second vice behind cigars. Actually, if I had to choose one for the rest of my life, I’d probably choose wine. Anyways, l found a local seller who was moving to Tennessee (like many Californians), and he was selling his Eurocave for $750. He also had 140 bottles he was looking to unload. Needless to say, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. He had quite the wine collection from the past 15+ years. He said he’d sell me his collection for a fraction of what he intended to sell it for because he retired from the same profession I’m in now. A short time later and a few bruises from moving the unit, I have amassed a large collection of aged quality wine at barely any cost. He was anal about keeping track of his wine like we are about cigars. I attached the list of wine for those curious. I dream of the day I can find an aged collection of CC. Cheers and happy new year. 17

Bri Fi Posted December 29, 2021 Author Posted December 29, 2021 Well I’d hate to make judgements, but based on your username id say you’d be interested in what he was selling in his three safes. 1
OrangePaw Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Congrats! Love the Freemark Abbey Cabs! 😍🍷
Bri Fi Posted December 29, 2021 Author Posted December 29, 2021 @OrangePaw glad to hear it. I’m opening a bottle tonight. In-laws are coming over for dinner and my wife’s dad helped me move the unit so I owe it to him 1
riderpride Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Cashed-in on some karma there. Congrats on the win. 1
Bri Fi Posted December 30, 2021 Author Posted December 30, 2021 @porkchop in the unit in the pic or on the list?

Very likely. I am interested in a lot of things but unfortunately never developed any passion for wine. My lossSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Popular Post Bri Fi Posted December 30, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted December 30, 2021 @B44 I had the Freemark abbey 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2013 Joullian reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2012 Kenwood reserve Cabernet Sauvignon which were all sublime. I shared with my wife and father in law. I had a montecristo media corona on my outdoor balcony with my father in law and it was amazing. Even though it was 43 degrees. 8

That looks like paradise brother! Nice and tucked away from the weather with comfy chairs. Living the life. 1
Bri Fi Posted December 30, 2021 Author Posted December 30, 2021 @porkchop I just got it all so I won’t know what’s the best three. The prices are listed in the attachment but price isn’t everything. We just had the 2012 kenwood reserve which is $50 and it out drank the 2014 freemark abbey which is $120. I’m loving it all 1
BrightonCorgi Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Well done. I guess he's a fan of Californian wine. Whenever there is a financial downturn, CA wines are the first auction for US collectors. A good thing for those looking to buy in times of hardship. 1
