Smoking this one out of a sampler I got. First time with this cigar and I think the shape will likely reveal it fairly quickly.

Rather ugly rustic stick to be honest. Slight box press with a fairly tight draw.

The initial flavors prove to be fairly mild. Touch of baking spice and a bit of coffee with sweet cream. A bit grassy.

Draw becomes a bit more easy, allowing the flavors to ramp up some. Baking spices become decidingly nutmeg, paprika and maybe a touch of clove. Suits the fall day perfectly. Coffee makes a switch over to more of a black coffee.

Final third and the smoke becomes somewhat bitter. Core flavors are the same at the last check in. Just a bit harsh now. Could probably use some rest to help with that. Medium - full body.

90 pts.

A nice experience overall and a stick I would not mind trying more of, especially with a bit of rest.
