Back nine, and we are ready to taste blood. I love talking about my good holes, but believe you me. When you can hit driver 365, you can end up with some embarrassing numbers. Not to mention introductions to the local property owners. I love golf in colorado. Light up a punch 48 and stsrt off on no 10.

 

This is a peanut bomb and a lovelyaone at that. My drive was like I hit it with the peanut butter knife. Low and left. Too cute. JM makes par and we win the hole. My superbowl is 11. A dreadful uphill dogleg left par 5 into the win. I stuff driver in my happy place, 350 down the left side into this little bunker with the perfect angle into the green. No one who doesn't routinely play with me knows this is the secret cheese. But if you can hit a 225 yard high cut with a 5 iron. Then you know. I pull it off and make bird to go 2 up. Good times. 

Peanuts and cream and uneventful golf until the 16th. Plum creek is a hidden gem. The last 3 are about the best test of gold you could want. 16 is a dog leg right long par 4 with water right and left to right wind on the regular. I wisely hit a 250 yard iron shot, stick my PW, and just miss birdie. Not that it matters bc everyone else hit at least 1 in the drink. Playing so well I forget the third pic of the cigar, which picks up steam and crescendos into a symphony of nut, cream, and poor word choices. 

We win the back side by 3 and get our iced teas. Golf is 10 of 10. Cigar is perfect. Another 10

A 225 yd 5 iron? I’d be lucky to get 160 out of the thing, on a great day... 😔

I've had 185 on a 5 iron. Not consistently but enough that I pull it out on a good day. Plus after his win I'm sure he's on cloud 9 and playing well. Keep it up killer! 👍
