Ah, the Davis Divan. One of the many post-war pipedreams that never quite made it. They actually managed to build 13 before the company went belly up. I’ve seen a few of them in real life and was quite charmed by them.

Lot of features mentioned from air jacks, cab forward design, etc...  are all being used today.

But first, in order to operate these vehicles we need to create a race of atomic supermen capable of withstanding the enormous G-forces of traveling at speeds in excess of 80 mph!
