Need some help please, gang. Hoping this is the right forum to post this...

I have a box of Cohiba Lanceros. Under a UV light, every band cuts off (inconsistently) between C - CHB2 (see pic). I removed a band and in the left white square, it says 48-54. Under a uv light, I see the two diagonal squares 2nd down 7th from left and 3rd down 8th from left.

The bands are the same length as a Siglo IV band.

So, why would there be a 48-54 band on a 38 ring gauge Lancero? And why would the code be chopped off?

There are other things about this box that made me suspicious enough to investigate, but these are the most evidence-based details I have.  Thank you!

I believe cutting or trimming of larger Cohiba bands to accommodate Siglo I and the Laguito sizes has been seen before. I don't think this is anything disqualifying.

Whoops sorry, I just saw the Suspect Cigar Forum.  Not sure how to move this there!

One of the Mods will move it so don't worry about it.

Other than what your mention regarding the bands, they look legit IMO.

The white squares under the chin and throat appear correct, as does the pony tail knot area on the Taino head.
These two areas seem to always be the suspect areas.
‘Enjoy!
