Have a house guest so I’ll take my Sunday mid morning smoke outside. I was smart enough to grab a few boxes of these before they became a secondary market only cigar. When I want a 1hr smoke, which I do a lot, I think of a corona or robusto. I like to smoke when I’m driving and I live 1 hr from the city of Napa, so when I head there to visit friends a corona is the perfect smoke. April thru October you have to expect people taking there once in a lifetime drive thru the Napa Valley, when I’m enjoying a nice cigar I could care less.

These cigars have been smoking beautifully, they just beg for a cup of coffee, today iced coffee. Nice smooth colorado wrapper, one of the heaviest of this box at 11gr. Draw is a little snug, perfect for me. Opening flavors are coffee, earth, cocoa and malt, a little under medium body. An inch in the cocoa becomes semisweet chocolate. 10 more minutes and I have a smoking bitter sweet chocolate wafer, it’s like every puff should be 50 calories, Bolivar nirvana. 50 minutes in a big blast of earthiness, coffee is now espresso and body is medium full. I can’t ask any more from a cigar, beautiful flavors and delicate to powerhouse strength. 64 minutes and 4,000 calories 🌈

Last one I had was in Germany about 4 years ago. Pure Bolivar..great cigars. Wish I had a box.
