Popular Post Fuzz Posted June 13, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 13, 2021 "Most people I know think that I'm crazy and I know at times I act a little hazy but If that's my way and you should know it then In every way help me to show it..." I rarely post reviews. Mostly because I don't smoke alone and rarely take notes. But this "Absolutely Absurd" review piqued my interest, so here goes.... We are going to try a little experiment with a Por Loarranga Picadores EOT JUN 16. I've heard of people wetting down their cigars under a tap, but that ain't gonna cut it for this review. Instead of water, we're going to use Pepsi. We're going to pair this with a coffee, but not just any coffee. Coffee with a dash of... honey. Also snacked on some peanut butter pretzels. And why smoke it the usual way? We're going to light the cap and smoke from the foot. Smoking through the first third, draw is nice despite smoking through the cap. A slightly sweet caramel flavour, but that might be from the Pepsi cooking off! There's a citrus note with the caramel, and doesn't really change through the first half. The wrapper looked like it was going to unravel, so I used the band to keep it together. Burn needed a touch up here and there, and the ash held for quite a while... until Hunter (my Lab) came over and nosed my arm, knocking off the ash. Moving in to the second half, the caramel went away, and was replaced by a green capsicum flavour. Nicotine is picking up and began to hit hard. Started turning harsh, so I finished a bit early. The wrapper managed to stay on all the way through. Definitely did not smoke like others that I have had from this box in the past. Flavour was different, and not exceptionally enjoyable. It was okay, but I wouldn't be tempted in smoking reverse again. At least the flavour did not detract from my watching a movie on my patio... 8 8

I can just about remember seeing Swarm once, or maybe it was another killer bee based flick Do they lead the wasps to a football stadium, and kill them with aircon? I remember thinking "Jesus, what a damp squib of an ending". As for the review, what on earth were you thinking??............surely it's got to be Coke!!!
Fuzz Posted June 13, 2021 Author Posted June 13, 2021 I had no Coke at home. The Pepsi was from a take away I had a few weeks back. I really should have used Ciego Montero Tukola, but couldn't find any here. 1 2

I think you're thinking of the film, "The Savage Bees". In "The Swarm", Michael Caine finally kills the bees off the coast, using sound to draw them out of Houston, and burning them with oil dumped in the ocean.
Monterey Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 Never occurred to me to put honey in my coffee. How did that turn out?
NSXCIGAR Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 Every time I've had to smoke a cigar backwards the thing unravels like a flag. The head of a cigar is made with a purpose. 2

You can taste the honey, and it adds sweetness to the coffee. Though, it also had a smokiness to it. If I do it again, I might try steaming the milk and honey together instead. I think putting the honey in first, and then hitting it with an espresso shot kind of burnt the honey. And the coffee I use is a very dark, double roast. I have a feeling that steaming the milk and honey will give it a better taste. 1
