Popular Post justince Posted April 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 16, 2021 Don't have the original box, but I think these are relatively fresh. Chucked the cardboard box since I accidently spilt water on it 😐 I know they're short filler, but that's what makes them exciting -- I'm convinced they're just scraps from various other sticks, so while they tend to be medium bodied overall, they sometimes have crazy, quick transitions. This one was an interesting one. Would vary from spicy to sweet, thick to thin, creamy to harsh. The wrapper certainly wasn't a show stopper, but that's to be expected for a two buck stick. The nice thing about these, if you need to chuck it half way through, you don't really feel bad. But i finished this guy all the way through, it was a winner. 8.5/10 6
sho671 Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Might want to keep your corona reviews for the corona review week.
Bijan Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 I've never been lucky with the short fillers. Just general tobacco flavour.
Ginseng Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Thank you for the review! These are among my favorite cheapies. I've enjoyed many a bundle in the yard.

Quinteros can be all over the place--but the most consistent ones are the Tubulares and the Panatelas imho. They are not as strong as the Favoritos. When the Favoritos are "on" they are very strong and in your face--an unrefined variation of Partagas twang. When they are "off" they taste as you described. 1

I've got one left, the last few were a bit tight, this one's been sitting in a desktop with lower humidity for over 6 months and seems to be pretty good now. I'll give it a try!
Midas Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 I’ve been working through a box of Petit Quintero’s over the last couple of years and have really enjoyed them. Quintero get a lot of hate but for the price they’re a great addition to the humidorSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
