Cigar Box Tool

This is certainly the earliest cigar box tool that I have seen. 

They really haven't evolved that much at all.  The original inventor "nailed it".

I received a modern version as a freebie a year ago...took me a bunch of googling to finally figure out what it was for. You’re right, it hasn’t changed much.

I'm guessing I got the same one and my wife guessed correctly what it was since I had no clue either.

I, too, was confused by this. I used it to pry the nails out of some walls that had previously held pictures. Now it's just sitting around and occasionally ill throw it at a couch.

Useful to cut seals, pry boxes open (pull the nail out if necessary).

Lift first cigar out of a box and hammer the nail back in.

Quite utilitarian. And not changed much....
