Ken Gargett
This is a fabulous little video. Some seriously big trout. They don’t name the rivers but a couple looked extremely familiar (a lot more familiar than the fish).
Hammer Smokin'
yes! thank you. I fish for just about every fresh water fish available (in Canada). Browns are hands down my favourite. while my preferred approach is shallow water trolling (under 15' of water), river fishing is a close 2nd! puromaniac
The thumping heart at the end says it all....but really, keep the fish wet, stop lifting them from the river for photos. So many studies show this is just bad for their survival.

So many studies show this is just bad for their survival. hard enough convincing some to go catch and release (this part of the world makes it mandatory) but to then tell them no pics, good luck. that said, and yes, lifting a fish out of water can't be a thrill for it but better than a knife across the gills, i've seen plenty of fish re-caught and seemingly suffering no previous ill effects. never seen anyone have a fish out for so long that it dried. that would be an issue.
