Ryan Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 I had been talking to some friends in Havana earlier this week and they had told me that Havana had gone back into lockdown for two weeks. Curfew from 7pm to 5am, schools closed, no public transport etc. Tough for many of them but they're managing, at least the people I was talking to. https://www.theguardian.com/world/gallery/2020/sep/03/coronavirus-curfew-in-havana-cuba-in-pictures 1 1 1
Connoisseur Kim Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Here in Korea another week of stricter social distancing has just enforced today. Even cigar lounges are closed too, so I can't post Kimfessions Series for while unfortunately ?. 1

We're the only country in Europe where bars are still closed. Though "restaurants" that sell beer can open as long as food is ordered along with any alcohol. I've seen a copy of a receipt for 47 pints of Guinness and a fish and chips! 1

The restaurants are still opened here, but have to close their business after 9PM except the ones with food delivery (same goes on convenience stores). You can't dine in cafes except taking away your coffee. Only 12 graders attending schools so far, but it seems that the remote education is going to be reintroduced soon. I really like Guiness Draught a lot mate ?!
cottierm Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Thanks for the link, Ryan. All the best, Michel
La_Tigre Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 School online in Havana...very curious to see what that looks like.
Partmonte Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 After having the kids at home since March they went back to school 2 days ago. Can't wait to see how long this lasts before they lock it all down again.
