Popular Post teamrandr Posted August 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 30, 2020 The wrapper is a nice colorado brown. It is actually quite glossy for such an old stick. The wrapper did have a slight newspaper smell to it. After giving it a rinse with tap water it comes to life. A really nice sugar cookie aroma at cold mixes with cocoa/tobacco. It is a beautiful day here in Michigan. Let's retire this oldie for the FOH friends. 1/3 The smoke is boring to start. Just tastes like old tobacco in the initial draws. Let's hope this thing picks up. The draws are tight. The stick did feel a bit tight. A slight cookie flavor is coming in. The draws are opening slightly. The flavor is light, super light. Just a touch of cinnamon cookie flavor. Sometimes with these old ones you have to hold o till the end. 2/3 Not much to say. The smoke tastes dead to me. The draws are a bit tight. The smoke is boring. I will probably just smoke it anyway. Final 3rd The smoke is becoming enjoyable. Slight cocoa flavor with the cinnamon cookie. Super light but at least I am getting flavor now. The smoke is picking up in pace. There is a nice coffee bean mixing with cocoa. Gone is the cinnamon cookie. Score : 80 That may even be a bit generous. You never know what you are going to get with the super aged sticks. 7 1
zappaFREAK Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 All I want to know is how do you keep them that long? My boxes last 2-3 months max.

These were kept by previous owners. I don't know the provenance of this cigar exactly. I do know that it came from a serious collector who has been very kind and shared some of his vintage stuff with me. Most of what was shared with me has been in his collection for many years and stored properly.
JC67 Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 disappointing to hold onto something that long and for it to taste average.
Notsocleaver Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 I appreciate these null reviews. Everyone wants to rave about the greatest experience the just had, but it helpful to know about the duds.
