There is some info in the old catalogues https://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/image/listall/catalogues I do have some plans to expand the coverage of pre-rev stuff but it's always going to be a fraction as complete as the post rev as so much information is lost. 1

Thanks, and I wasn't taking a dig at the site(i love it) I was genuinely curious as to why some really old brands weren't there but this makes sense now...

Since the Revolution there have been about 45-50 brands, current and discontinued. I've seen a list from Cuba of about 4,500 pre-revolution Cuban cigar brands, from about 1825 - 1960. Many don't even have the owners names listed. Information other than the names for many if not most of them, I don't think would be possible to find now. Much of the information would be out there, but the range of sources would be enormous. 1 1
